Trend Care Systems Pty Ltd, founded in 1994, is now a leading provider of Nurse Management Software for the private and public hospital sector in Australia and New Zealand. Our success is the result of a philosophy of continuous quality improvement and excellent customer service. Today, TrendCare is operating in excess of 80 Australian based sites, 14 New Zealand sites and 4 South East Asian sites.

Understanding the Industry

Trend Care Systems Pty Ltd identified and developed management solutions to satisfy a real need in the health care market. Demands on funding in both private and public sectors requires hospitals to be highly focused on optimising efficiency in work practices and the utilisation of human resources. The TrendCare Acuity/Clinical Pathway System, our primary product, is recognised as the leading product in the pursuit of this goal.The health care industry demands that external consultants have more than just a passing knowledge of the industry. An in-depth understanding of the important issues facing the industry is paramount. Trend Care Systems employs experienced managers from within the healthcare and I.T. industries as consultants and combines their expert knowledge and experience with innovative software solutions. This ensures that the needs of clients are fully understood and addressed in the most effective way.

Introducing: Cherrie Lowe
Director of Trend Care Systems Pty Ltd - Nursing Support

Cherrie Lowe is one of the leading figures in Australasian Nursing. She is known for her quality approach to nurse management and is a regular speaker at nursing conferences. Cherrie has contributed to several international publications relating to human resource management, is a founding Director of Trend Care Systems Pty Ltd, and has a Health Care consultancy service. She is a registered general nurse and midwife with tertiary qualifications in Education (nursing) and Hospital Administration. Cherrie has been a Director of Nursing of several hospitals and has a vast experience in a wide range of clinical specialities. She is also a senior Quality Surveyor for the Australian Council of Health Care Standards. In 2000 Cherrie was awarded The Royal College of Nursing Australia Nursing Excellence Award for the contribution she has made to nursing in Australia.

Ronald Dunigan is a founding Director of Trend Care Systems Pty Ltd. and the owner of the software consultancy service Software Trend. Ronald has a Bachelor of Science with a major in Computer Science. He has worked in the Information Services industry since 1985 in a variety of roles and has had extensive experience in the health care industry.
